Controller
Ovmez, based in Heredia, Costa Rica, is responsible for the personal data you share through this site. Contact: hola@ovmez.com.
What we collect
Only what you type in the form: name, WhatsApp number or email, the goal you pick (optional) and the description of your inquiry. If you message us on WhatsApp or book a call, we also receive what you share there. We also measure visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying individuals.
How we use it
To answer your inquiry and schedule a call. If you leave your email, we send you an automatic confirmation that we received your message. We don’t subscribe you to newsletters, use your data for advertising, or sell or share it with third parties.
Who else processes it
We use providers that help us run the site and receive messages (hosting, spam protection, email delivery with Resend, anonymous visit measurement with Umami and call scheduling with Cal.com). If you choose WhatsApp, the conversation happens on that Meta platform. These providers only process data for that purpose, and some store it outside Costa Rica, mainly in the United States.
Cookies and storage
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Visit measurement is anonymous and cookie-free. While you fill in the form, your draft is temporarily saved in your own browser so you don’t lose it; it is deleted when you submit it or close the tab, and it never leaves your device until you submit. To prevent spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that is not used for tracking. If you open the call scheduler, it loads from Cal.com, which may use its own storage so the booking works.
Security
The site only runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and form messages are sent straight to our inbox. We don’t store your data in public databases or on the site itself.
How long we keep it
For as long as the business conversation lasts and up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
Under Costa Rica’s Law 8968 on the Protection of Persons with regard to the Processing of their Personal Data, you may request access, correction, update or deletion of your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to hola@ovmez.com. We reply within 5 business days.
Consent
By submitting the form you agree to the use of your data as described in this policy.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date.
